Dandelion Burdock Tea

  • Dandelion root, 10 g
  • Ginger, 5 g
  • Mugwort, 2 g
  • Burdock root, 10 g
  • Fennel, 5 g
  • Milk thistle, 5 g
  1. Mix all the ingredients and add about 2 quarts (or slightly less) of water.
  2. Boil the ingredients in a non-aluminum pot.
  3. Let the liquid simmer on a low flame for 20 minutes and then take it down and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid and store.
  5. Take about ¼-½ cup of tea 3 times a day.
  6. Make sure that you warm the liquid whenever you consume it.
Ginger Lemon Tea

  • Powdered ginger, ½ tsp.
  • Powdered turmeric, ½ tsp.
  • Lemon, ½
  • Maple syrup, 1 tbsp.
  • Water, 2 cups
  1. Mix the ginger and turmeric in 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. After the water begins to boil, let it simmer for 15 minutes. Then take it down from the stove and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea, add the lemon juice and maple syrup and stir well.
  4. Boil it again if the tea has become warm.
Green Peppermint Tea

  • Peppermint tea, 1 bag
  • Green tea, 1 bag
  • Boiling water, 2 cups
  1. In a pot of boiling water, place the green tea bag and the peppermint tea bag and let it boil for 8-10 minutes (you can keep it for a lesser time if you don't want a bitter taste).
  2. Then remove the tea bags and drink.
  3. Add honey if you feel the taste is too bitter.
Cayenne Pepper Tea

  • Cayenne pepper, 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice, ½ cup
  • Honey, 1 tbsp.
  • Water, 1 cup
  1. In a cup of boiling water, add all the ingredients and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  2. Do not strain the pepper and have this lemon cayenne pepper detox drink as it is.
These were some of the recipes of liver detox tea and while many people prefer to go in for liver detox juices, these are some really good ones that are very effective.
